Why was my position automatically closed?

Your position was automatically closed because your Equity-to-Margin (EM) Ratio reached 50%, which is the Auto-Closeout level on the Axi Trading Platform (Axi app).

When this level is reached, the Axi Trading Platform automatically closes 20% of the affected position to reduce the margin requirement. For example, if you have a 1-lot EUR/USD position, the system will initially close 0.2 lots, leaving 0.8 lots open.

If your margin remains insufficient after the first Auto-Closeout, the system may automatically close additional portions of the position until the margin requirement is sufficiently restored or the position is fully closed.

You can confirm whether this process occurred by checking your Trade History. If the transaction is marked “Auto Closeout,” it means the position was automatically closed by the system.
